Response to Letter Regarding Article, “Fibroblast Growth Factor 23 and Risk of Incident Stroke in CommunityLiving Adults” We thank Drs Zou and Zheng for their comments. We agree that future research will need to establish whether measuring fibroblast growth factor 23 may be useful for reducing stroke rates, either as a biomarker for improving cardioembolic stroke risk stratification or potentially as a target of therapy.
